The pie chart provided illustrates how the children's charity in America managed their money in a year and numerated the categories it earned and spent in detail. From an overall perspective, it is apparent that the total number the charity acquired is slightly more than the total it spent, and the donated food constitutes the largest proportion of the revenue sources, whereas the program services possessed the biggest proportion of the expenditure.

Looking at the figures in more detail, we can observe that Donated food accounted for almost 90 percent of the income resources, 86.6 percent to be precise. What's more, in stark contrast, the second biggest revenue comes from community contributions, which possesses nearly one in every ten of the number it earns in a year. Moreover, the program revenue only contributes 2.2 percent of the total income, around 5 times smaller than the community contributions. At the mention of the rest of the revenue sources, investment income, government grants and other incomes earn 0.2 percent, 0.2 percent, and 0.4 percent of the total revenue respectively.

In comparison, the children's charity only spent on three categories. The program services accounted for 95.8 percent of the total expenditure, the highest proportion of the spending. Last but not least, the money used in fundraising, management and general only made up 2.6 percent and 1.6 percent of the total spending, nearly 5 percent of the total expenditure.
